Antonia Ortiz de Soto, 82, formerly of Norfolk, Nebraska, died Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Emerald Care & Rehab in Columbus, Nebraska.

The funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 21, at Gass Haney Funeral Home with Father Jairo Congote officiating. The service will be broadcast live on the Gass Haney Facebook page. Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, also at the funeral home.

Antonia Ortiz de Soto was born in Jerecuaro, Guanajuato, Mexico, on June 8, 1939, to Alejo Ortiz and Antonia Vega Serrano. She attended school in Mexico and graduated high school. In 1961, Antonia was united in marriage to Aurelio Soto Orias. The couple moved to Nebraska in 1995. Antonia enjoyed cooking, sewing, and watching her favorite soap operas.
