Annette Delozier, 75, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Monday, May 26, 2014, at the Golden LivingCenter of Columbus.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 28, at 10:30 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Fr. Del Lape officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Gass Haney Funeral Home in Columbus with a 7:00 PM prayer service. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until service time at the church. Interment will be in the Columbus Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to those of the family choice.

Annette was born February 4, 1939, in Laurel, Nebraska, to Herman and Grace (Morton) Schaffer. She attended grade school in Norfolk, Nebraska, and graduated from Madison High School, Madison, Nebraska. After graduation, Annette went to work for Norfolk Daily News. On January 15, 1966, she and Gene Delozier were united in marriage in Norfolk. The couple soon moved to Columbus where they made their home. Annette was a homemaker until the children were older and then she went to work at Queens X, Dee's Hallmark, and Nieds Meat. In 1992 Annette went to work for the Columbus Hospital in the cafeteria and retired in 2006.

Annette loved raising flowers, taking pictures, shopping, and collecting bells. She went to great depths to spoil her grandchildren.

Great Grandson – Kyler Delozier
Brother – Jerry (Sue) Schaffer of Meadow Grove, NE
Many nieces and nephews
