Allen "Al" Moore, 66, of Columbus, Nebraska, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024, peacefully at his home surrounded by his family.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, at 10:30 AM at Gass Haney Funeral Home with Chaplain Mitch Shemek officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 9:30 AM until service time, also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Columbus Cemetery.

Allen Lowell Moore was born on July 6, 1957, to Levi and Helen (Koci) Moore in Schuyler, Nebraska. He attended Howells High School. Al worked at the meat packing plant in Schuyler and later went to work at D & L Manufacturing. He retired from Behlen's in 2018, after 23 years of loading trailers. During his retirement, he helped his daughter with her laundromats. Al enjoyed gardening, scrapping, watching college football, and sitting outside enjoying the outdoors.
