Gayle Selichnow
Gayle Selichnow, 70, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Monday, June 1, 2009, at the Golden Living Center in Columbus. The funeral service will be Thursday, June 4, 2:00 P.M. at the Gass Haney Funeral Home with Rev. Bill RItter officiating. There will be a private family interment in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. and on Thursday from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. all at the Gass Haney Funeral Home. Gayle R. Selichnow was born July 9, 1938, in Platte County, Nebraska, to Roy and Caroline (Weber) Selichnow. Gayle grew up in the Platte Center area and moved to Columbus in 1946. In 1963, Gayle married Norma Roschynialski and they had one son, Brad. Gayle worked at various jobs in Columbus and worked for several years at D&L. Gayle was an honest man and worker and was an avid Nebraska football fan.
