Esther Blaser

 

Esther Blaser, 97 of Columbus, Nebraska died Sunday, March 19, 2006 at the Beverly Healthcare of Columbus.

The funeral service will be Thursday, March 23, 10:30 A.M. at St. Luke's United Church of Christ with Rev. Wayne Schupbach officiating. Interment will be in the Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Columbus. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Gass Haney Funeral Home and on Thursday from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M. at the church with a family prayer service at 10:15 A.M. Memorials may be directed to St. Luke's Building Fund or donor's choice.

Esther Blaser was born March 12, 1909 in Columbus, Nebraska to Jonathan and Carrie (Haggard) Osborn. Esther attended school in Columbus. On December 3, 1925, Esther married Lawrence Blaser in Columbus. They lived their entire lives in the Columbus area. Esther was a homemaker. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Esther was very active in St. Luke's Church where she was past president and teacher of the Sunday School. She was a member of Friends of Music, Swiss Maennerchor, and enjoyed dancing.

Grandson - John (Merridy) Blaser of Fox Island, WA
Granddaughter - Kelly (Chris) Lovci of Columbus, NE
Grandson - Michael (Joanne) Blaser of Columbus, NE
Grandson - Scott (Lois) Blaser of Cheyenne, WY
19 - Great Grandchildren
3 - Great-Great-Grandchildren
