Luella T. Arndt, 97, of Columbus, Nebraska died Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at the Beverly Healthcare in Columbus. The funeral service will be Saturday, January 14, 10:30 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus with Rev. Richard Bringewatt officiating. There will be a family prayer service at 10:15 A.M. at the church. Interment will be in the Roselawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Saturday from 9:45 - 10:30 at the church. Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church or donor's choice. Luella T. Arndt was born August 24, 1908 in Belgrade, Nebraska to Eilert and Ella (Janssen) Hellbusch. She attended school in Belgrade and graduated from Kramer High School in Columbus in 1926.On August 25, 1931, Luella married Raymond W. Arndt in Columbus. Luella was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and participated in Walther League, Sewing Circle, Evening Guild, Choir, and the Country Ladies Aid. She was a member of the Columbus Hospital Auxiliary and the Red Cross Gray Ladies for many years.
