Edna H. Blaser, 96 of Duncan, Nebraska died Thursday, March 3, 2005 at Mory's Haven in Columbus.

The funeral service will be Monday, March 7, 10:30 A.M. at St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Columbus with Rev. Nancy Peebles officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Columbus. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00 - 7:00 P.M., with family receiving friends from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. at Gass Haney Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Monday from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M. at the church with a family prayer service at 10:15 A.M. Memorials may be directed to St. Luke's United Church of Christ.

Edna H. Blaser was born November 30, 1908 in Duncan, Nebraska to Albert & Hedwig (Schacher) Gerber. She attended school in Duncan. On December 9, 1931, Edna married Henry Blaser in Duncan. They farmed in the Duncan area all their lives until Edna moved to Columbus in her later years. She was a member of the Swiss Manechior, several bridge clubs, the Ladies Aid & Circle at church. She enjoyed gardening, baking, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

Daughter - Jean (Reinhard) Fergin of Columbus, NE
Daughter - Joan (Merle) Mueller of Richland, NE
Brother - Albert Gerber of Duncan, NE
5 - Grandchildren
12 - Great Grandchildren

Husband - Henry Blaser
Son - Melvin Blaser
