Edward O. Mueller, 91, of
Columbus, Nebraska died Tuesday, October 3, 2000 at the Genoa Community
Hospital in Genoa, NE. Services are Friday, October 6, 2000 at 10:30
A.M. at St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Columbus with the Rev.
Nancy Peebles officiating. Interment will at the Roselawn
Cemetery in Columbus. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 5,
2000 from 3:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Gass Haney Funeral Home and on Friday,
October 6, 2000 from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M. at the church.

Edward O. Mueller was born October 15, 1908 in Rural Platte County, Nebraska to Samuel T. and Lena (Egger) Mueller. He attended District 3 school. He married Delila Miller on August 16, 1933 in Columbus, Nebraska.
Delila preceded him in death on August 18, 1966. Edward married Martha
(Lutjelusche) Muhle on May 10, 1969 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Edward was a lifelong farmer in the Oconee
area. He semi-retired in 1969 and moved to Columbus. He was a member of St. Luke's United Church of
Christ and was a past president of the church council.

- He served on the Oconee District 25 School Board for 20
years and the Oconee Township Election Board. He was also active in the organization of the Lakeview School
District. Edward was a member of the Swiss Manennerchor
Society.
Memorials may be directed to the St. Luke's Church Building Fund,
Lakeview Education Foundation or Donor's Choice.
