Everett W. Grim

Everett W. Grim, 63, of Columbus, Nebraska, formerly of California, died Thursday, May 15, 2008, at his home in Columbus.

Private family services will be held.

Everett Warren Grim was born July 25, 1944, in Murray, Iowa, to Lowell and Eva (Peters) Grim.  On February 21, 1968, he married Betty McKnight.  They had three children.  Everett and his family made their home in Nebraska and Colorado where Everett worked as a mechanic. 

On September 5, 1984, Everett married Mary "Shannon" Kaiser.  They made their home in Garden Grove, California, where Everett worked as a professional painter.  In 1997 Everett moved back to Sargent, Nebraska, where he worked as a mechanic.  In October, 2007 he moved to Columbus, Nebraska.

Everett enjoyed hunting, fishing, auto mechanics, and was a avid coin collector. 

Everett is survived by:

Daughter - Tammy (Brian) Lovitt of Columbus, NE

Son - Cortney (Shawna) Grim of Overton, NE

Step Sons - Frank, Mike, Louie, and Joe Pat Kaiser

Brother - Jim (Julie) Grim of Ord, NE

Sister - Karen Kriss of Comstock, NE

Grandsons - Daniel, Brian Jr., Scott, Tylor, and Wyatt

Granddaughters - Amber, Ashley, and Caitlin.

Good Friend - Dane Lane

Many nieces and nephews

Ex-wife - Betty Grim of Columbus, NE
