Jerry J. Hollmann, 62 of Leigh, Nebraska, died Sunday, March 30, 2008, at the Stanton Nursing Center in Stanton.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at 2:00 PM at the Gass Haney Funeral Home with Rev. Theresa Meyer officiating.  Interment will be in the Leigh City Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 1, from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM and continue on Wednesday from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM with a 1:45 PM family prayer service, all at the Gass Haney Funeral Home.

Jerry J. Hollmann was born December 3, 1945, in Columbus, Nebraska, to Helmuth & Wilma (Jindra) Hollmann. Jerry attended District 42 school in Stanton County and graduated from Leigh High School in 1964. On April 17, 1981, Jerry married Diane Volsicka at St. John's Lutheran Church in Leigh. Jerry served in the U.S. Reserves and was a farmer and dairy farmer all his life. He enjoyed taking care of his cows and tractors, and spending time with his family.

Grandchildren: Lakendra, Cassie, & Joseph Gerald
